Chorney, Victoria “Vicky”

CHORNEY, VICTORIA wJune 10, 1944 – September 6, 2013
at the age of 69 years

Vicky died suddenly in Armstrong, BC at the age of 69 years.

She was born on a homestead in Calder, SK moving to BC when she was six years old.  All her early school years were in Grand Forks, BC and after graduation she moved to Vancouver where she attended U.B.C.

She worked in Vancouver for 35 years for the B.C. Disease Control Society.  In these 35 years she also enjoyed her Floral Business and her beautiful yard and garden along with her pal; her dog “Sam”.

Vicky retired in 2004, left Vancouver and settled in Armstrong, BC.  She loved the feel of a small town; friendly people and less traffic.

She enjoyed many new activities and hobbies along with her large yard.

Vicky was predeceased by both parents Metro and Bessie Chorney in 1982.  She will be sadly missed by her sister Rose (Bob), nephews Don (Lindsay), Alan (Courtney) and niece Terra.  Also, she had four great nieces Addison, Avery, Parker and Mya.
