Mrs. Janice (Janeece) Ellen Gerow (Skene) passed away peacefully at home with her family beside, on March 18th, 2017. Pre-deceased by her husband Rick Gerow, she is
survived by her son Michael, and daughter Vivian, and partners.
Janice’s greatest love was her family and her greatest passion was the contribution she made to countless young people through her counselling practice. To Janice, counselling was not a vocation or profession but was a soulful giving of her spiritual self. The love, compassion and wisdom she gave beats in the hearts of her students to this day.  
An avid hockey fan, Janice, with Rick, cheered for her Vancouver Canucks, win or lose.  
Our deep gratitude to the Home Support care aides, and Shuswap Hospice Society, who continued to give to her, and value her, as she passed from us.
