It was always such a pleasure doing Lorraine’s hair and giving you something to be concerned about !I’m not sure if she ever told you, but… your nickname was ‘Hair Police’ ! We always got such a chuckle dreaming up crazy hair styles to see just what your comments would be THIS time! I hope you realize that this was only in good fun as Lorraine and I liked to have.
It hardly felt like work when we had our visit, I truly enjoyed each conversation with her and will truly miss her spunk and bright giggle. My thoughts are with you at this time,

  9. My Deepest Condolences to you Ed & your family, to Loraine’s loving daughter Erica & family, her sister’s & their families & all the grandchildren Loraine loved so very much. She will surely be sadly missed!
My adventures with Loraine began a couple of years ago when we both agreed to take a part in a skit at Palmas Del Sol in Arizona.
She took the mother part “Mumsy” & I was the dawg “Rex!
Through many weeks of practice, we giggled our way into each others lives as “Mumsy & Rex”.
After that we enjoyed each others company in a lot of different ways, the best being, quilting for “Arizona quilts for kids” in our ballroom.
The first time we went to a fabric store together we were so excited about choosing the right fabrics that went together for our own patch work quilts, that we really didn’t realize our gleeful comments were keeping a lot of their customers entertained.
Loraine didn’t have time to finish that quilt, but we had a lot of fun putting it together anyway. Maybe I would be allowed to finish it for her now?
Many times, people would ask us if we were sisters. We thought that was really funny as we didn’t think we looked a bit alike, but through that we became “Sunshine Sisters”.
Those were such good times Loraine. Thanks for the Beautiful memories!
    I miss you so much!
Rest in Peace Sweet Sunshine Sister!
    Love Clare

  16. My heart is broken. I loved Loraine, my dearest friend since we were 11 years old. Distance never mattered; we have always been connected and I know we will meet again in a place of no pain and lots of beaches where we will continue to share our hearts. My love and great sympathies to all her family. Loraine was a wonderful, kind and gentle person and she will be missed so much. My love to all of you. I cannot be there on Aug. 25 but my spirit will be there with you and with Loraine.
