Celebration of Life:  Saturday, June 4, 2016, 2:00 p.m., Fischer’s Funeral Services

The Heavens welcomed home an Angel.
With extremely heavy hearts we announce the passing of Jean Elizabeth Patenaude.  Born Feb 5, 1927 in Nakusp B.C. she passed May 29, 2016 in Salmon Arm B.C. at the age of 89 years.
Left to cherish Mom’s memory; Son Lionel and Myrna and his children Keith and Michelle, Son Wayne and Deb and his children Darwyn, Shayne and Corey, Son Reg and Wanda and their children Lynnsey, Quinton and her daughters Kimberly and Stephanie, Son Doug and children Stephanie and Christopher, Daughter Colleen and Terry, her sons Michael and Daniel and his son Brendon, Daughter Patricia (Trish) and Dean and her daughter Whitney (a total of 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grand children and 2 great-great grandchildren), step-children Louise and John, Linda and George and son Dustin, Lorie and Bob and daughter Kimberly, Wayne and Jackie as well as numerous extended family and her much loved cat, Tawny.
Mom was welcomed on the other side by her Mom, Dad, Step-Mom, 1st husband Gordon Watson, 2nd husband Cliff Patenaude and great-grandson Tyrell.
Mom lived most of her years in Salmon Arm, she moved to Vernon when she married Cliff and then back to Salmon Arm.
A Celebration of Life is being held June 4 @ 2:00p.m. at Fischer’s Funeral Services in Salmon Arm.
No flowers please, you can donate to a charity of your choice if you wish to.

  2. hello, my name is Mary Williams and I am from Kelowna. I had the privilege of meeting Jean when I was staying in Salmon Arm a few years ago . Somehow we just clicked and became almost like sisters.
    Every time I came to Salmon Arm , my daughter , Jan Naylor would try to take me to visit her. I will miss her happy smile and the big hugs we shared .
    My sincerest sympathy to all your family.

  3. I will miss our little visits at Piccadilly. Jean had an incredible ability to make anyone smile. She will be missed. Thoughts are with her family.

  4. My condolences to the family. I met Jean at Piccadilly when my mother lived there and over the past 3 years I’ve always made a stop to visit her in her knitting corner. A very special lady and I will miss visiting her.

  9. So sorry to hear of your mom’s sudden and unexpected passing. Mom de Boer is going to miss her in the knitting corner at Piccadilly Terrace. It was always pleasant to sit and chat with her.
