at the age of 80 years

Les Henry Peters, age 80 years, April 7, 1931 – March 22, 2012 passed away peacefully with family by his side, at Salmon Arm Hospital.  He was predeceased by his wife Beverley and is survived by son Greg, daughter in-law Donna, grandchildren Justin & Lindsay, brother Orville and sister Verna. He will be dearly missed by family & friends in Winnipeg,Calgary,Edmonton, Vancouver & Salmon Arm.

Les was an ex-navy sea dog with character, charm and a bit of a bite. He always wore his heart on his sleeve. He was the type of guy who would say…in lieu of flowers buy stock in the Blackhawks!! Les loved Salmon Arm and over the past 17 years truly appreciated all the support and friends he made.

  1. Hi Greg…many years ago, I met your family through Del and Amy Wagner. I was dating Leslie back then and fondly remember those times we used to get together. One of your dad’s often used phrases was…”you better believe it.” I hope you are well and just wanted to send along this message as I was thinking of your family today.

  4. A Great Grandfather. Always shared a great view on life for me and was definitely good for a laugh or two. I will miss you so much.

  5. A good brother and good friend. We didn’t always share the same views or cheer for the same teams but it made for good conversationI will miss him.
