Thompson, Eleanor Esther “Ele”

January 24, 1937 – February 21, 2019
at the age of 82 years

Graveside Burial, Tappen Cemetery, Tappen, BC, Saturday, March 9, 2019, 11:30 am
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, March 9, 2019 at Moutainview Baptist Church, 1981 9 Avenue NE, Salmon Arm with Pastor Lloyd Garner officiating. 

Eleanor, lovingly known as “Ele” was called home to be with her Lord in Salmon Arm, BC at the age of 82 years.
She was predeceased by her parents and one brother and is survived by her loving husband of 42 years Wesley, two sons, one daughter, three sisters, three brothers, ten grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
She was born and raised in Vancouver, and she spent time in Langley, Abbotsford, Saskatchewan and Salmon Arm.  Ele loved sewing and was known for her wedding preparations, draperies, flower arranging, accordion and guitar.  She was a member of Mountainview Baptist Church since 2012 and volunteered at the Churches Thrift Store.
Interment will be at Tappen Cemetery at 11:30 a.m.  A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, March 9, 2019 at Moutainview Baptist Church, 1981 9th Ave NE, Salmon Arm with Pastor Lloyd Garner officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Mountainview Baptist Building Fund.

  1. Wesley, my heart goes out to you and your family with the passing of your wife Eleanor. I will miss seeing her each month at the Good Food Box….I enjoyed our little teasing with each other each month. You will have a huge void to fill. Thank heavens you have some very good friends who will help you in this time of sorrow. We will try and make it to the service, if the roads are good. Your friends Pat & Warren Ogden
