Celebration of life will be held on Thursday March 8th at 1:00 pm at The Senior’s 5th Avenue Activity Centre located at 170 5th Ave SE, Salmon Arm.
With great sadness on February 28th 2018, we said goodbye to Hazel Walker, a loving mom, wife and friend. She will be missed for her infectious laughter, kind heart and love of life.
Hazel was born in Aberdeen Scotland on September 23rd, 1947. In 1969 she travelled to Canada with her friend Margaret to stay for 1 year. During that year she met Ron Walker, fell in love, and married on March 28th 1970. Hazel and Ron had three children, Brian, Dawn (02/01/72 -02/17/72), and Heather.
Hazel’s Celebration of life will be held on Thursday March 8th at 1:00 pm at The Senior’s 5th Avenue Activity Centre located at 170 5th Ave SE, Salmon Arm.
In the spirit of Hazel’s giving nature, in lieu of flowers, please donate to a charity of your choice in the community.
Hazel was the most amazing woman, and the strongest one I’ve ever met. It’s hard to forget someone who gave you so much to remember. We’re so sorry to hear of her passing.

I am so sorry for your loss. I always enjoyed my visits with Hazel. She was one of my Avon customers many years ago, before she started selling herself.
