AKA Rhino Ray passed on April 13, 2018 in Kamloops following an emergency surgery.  After 3 years of struggling his body finally succumbed.  But just like Ray, he was alert, aware and ready to meet the new challenges ahead.  With a peaceful smile on his face, he passed away in his sleep, now free from all suffering.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Judy, his son Philip (Liz), grandchildren: Keith and Emily, 3 brothers: Roy, Len (Gail), Adrien (Sherry) 5 sisters:  Aldine (Alyre), Lilly, Cecile (Dave), Anne (Lou), Diane (Randy) and many Eastern nieces and nephews.
He shared a special closeness to his BC nieces: Kim, Jamie-Lee (Sebastien), Dunnell (Mat) and nephew Steven (Krsytyna), a very special BC fishing “Buddy Blaine”, and many wonderful friends.
He is predeceased by his brothers: Louis and Julien and his three children: Kevin, Keith and Karen.
In lieu of flowers, Ray asked that donations be sent to the Royal Inland Hospital Vascular Surgical Dept.
