My condolences to the family and friends of Donald Ackerman
I’m sure that this is the same Mr Ackerman that taught me in elementary school in Celista BC in the North Shuswap in the early seventies,
He was such a great teacher and also mentor. My younger brother and myself along with the two Nordquist boys would play minor hockey in Salmon Arm a trip from Celista each week and Mr Ackerman played men’s hockey there,
so he always encourage us,
Lots off great memories

Dear Family and Friends of Mr. Ackerman;
My most sincerest condolences. I still call him Mr. Ackerman out of respect. He taught me in grade 5&7 at Sorrento Elementary. He was and still is an inspiration. Thank you for sharing him with all of us students over the years. I think of him all the time.
