Linda Jean Adama passed away on January 19, 2024 at Shuswap Lake General Hospital surrounded by her three loving children.

Linda was born August 21, 1946 in Vancouver and grew up in Port Alberni.  Following graduation, she went to BCIT where she trained to become X-ray Technician.  Completion of her training brought her to Dawson Creek, where she met John, her husband of 46 years.  They began their life together in Edmonton where their son, Daryl, was born.  They later settled in Ashcroft where they had their two daughters, Rhea & Kelsi.  Linda and John retired and moved to Salmon Arm where they built their dream home and spent many years enjoying it with their children, grandchildren, family, and friends.

Linda was not only a devoted wife and mother, but a dedicated health care professional at Ashcroft Hospital for over 27 years.  Linda was intelligent, hardworking and she could do anything she put her mind to which was something she instilled in each of her children.  She will be remembered for the endless love and devotion she gave her family.

Linda will be deeply missed by her sister Joanne, her three children, and her nine grandchildren.

We rest easier knowing that you are with dad now, driving off into the sunset together again.

Family and friends are welcome to join the family for a celebration of Linda’s life on Saturday, May 4, 2024 from 1 – 4pm at the Prestige Harbourfront Resort, Salmon Arm, BC
