Alain, Marlene Lorraine

June 19, 1943 – November 16, 2021
at the age of 78 years

It is with broken hearts we announce the sudden passing of “Mom”, “Grandma”, “Framma” on November 16, 2021, at home in Salmon Arm, surrounded by family.

Born in Vancouver, BC, she later moved to Vernon, Canoe, Sicamous and Salmon Arm. She was a hard worker, had many friends and valued family above all else.

She is survived by son James (April) of Vanderhoof, BC, daughter Wendy Mohr of Salmon Arm, grandchildren Liana (Cam), Matthew (Chantel), Linae (Dylan), Josh, Troy (James), Faith, Wyatt and 9 great-grandchildren. Marlene also leaves behind brothers Gerald “Butch” and Dennis (Lois), many nieces and nephews. 

She was predeceased by parents Anah and Morgan McDonald, husband Peter Snow, brothers Larry, Dwayne and Carl, sisters Faye, Gwen and Sharon, sister-in-law Nola.

She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.

Celebration of Life to be held at a later date.

  1. Wendy, so sorry for the Loss of your mom. I just saw it now. I remember her always with you and the kids when every one was still small.

  5. Every time you look up just know she is with you still. The lady I knew was always so kind to me. Rest peacefully Marlene. My heartfelt sympathies to you Wendy and family.
