Daughter of Alice and George Knutson.   Predeceased by her husband Clifford, her son Dale Dupuis and brothers Dennis and Lenard.  She is survived by her sister Muriel Martin, stepchildren Myles (Ana) and Susan, grandchildren Andrew and Thomas Dupuis, Dale and Emily Andrus plus several neices and nephews.   She also leaves behind her precious Berry and Paisley.   Rita was a kind hearted person who loved people and all animals especially her husband who she affectionately referred to as “the old buzzard”.  She was an avid reader and also loved to tell stories.  Although almost completely housebound for well  over a year, she never complained and always maintained her sense of humor.   Not well and unsure of what lie ahead without the old buzzard, a week after his passing she quietly slipped away to join him in eternity.   Rita will be greatly missed by those who knew her.  Many thanks to friends, home care workers, nurses, doctors and staff at Parkside Community who did all they could.
