It is with sadness that the family of Joan Elise Becker announce her passing. Joan died peacefully surrounded by family in the early morning hours of December 11th 2015.
Joan was born on September 21st 1941 and spent her childhood in Sorrento BC, before moving to Kamloops to work at the Weyerhauser pulp mill in 1970.
Joan is survived by a sister Dian (Maurice) Caouette, a niece Debra (Jeff) Jordan, a nephew Kirk Caouette, and a great niece Megan Jordan, and large extended family. She is preceded in death by an infant brother and her parents Johnny and Ester Becker.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to your local food bank. The family of Joan Elsie Becker wishes to thank all our friends and family for their support and love at this time.
Please accept my most heartfelt sympathies for your loss. She was a special lady and an amazing friend. I have many cherished memories that I will never forget; she will be missed so much. May the love of family and friends help you through this difficult time. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
