December 27, 1941 – March 22, 2023
at the age of 81 years:

                  In loving memory, Edward (Ted) passed away peacefully on March 22, 2023.  He is preceded by his parents Geoffrey Belcher and Wilhelmina Kerr and his wife Irene Belcher.  He is survived by his siblings Carole Anne and Shirley; his daughter Trina (Cam) and grand children Autumn, Brooke, Nicholas and Claire; his son Jeff (Ula) and grand children Mila and Marek.  Ted was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba and later moved to British Columbia and married Jane and resided in Abbotsford and Mission. He enjoyed fishing and hunting throughout B.C.  His interests expanded when he formed Blue Mountain Mining company and learned how to manufacture items like bricks and clay garden pots.  Later he married Irene and moved to the Shuswap area. Ted was an accomplished photographer and for many years was part of the local markets.  He also enjoyed taking his collector cars to the vintage car shows in the area. Many thanks to the staff at Shuswap Lake General Hospital.  As per Ted’s wishes no memorial service will be observed; rather, those who wish to can donate to a charity of their choosing.
