Hello Edna,
Just happened to notice Jean’s name in the list Fischer’s publishes monthly. So very sorry to hear of Jean’s passing. He did so much for the Eagle Valley Community Support Society and the people of Sicamous and area when you lived at Swansea, and we often talk about what a giving man he was and how he had so many talents. He was a wonderful board member and we have never had another with so many useful skills in addition to being a caring and compassionate man. While our centre in Sicamous has undergone a lot of renovations over the years, we still see his handiwork in the fence, and the flooring on the lower floor, and we still miss his expertise in our Community Volunteer Tax Preparation program. If you are planning a celebration of Jean’s life, please let us know as we would very much like to attend and/or send a tribute for the work he did in our area. Again, our sincere condolences. Janet and Gord Senft, and the board and membership of EVCSS.
