  1. Shawn and family.
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. My heart goes out to you and yours. Shawn, if there is any way that I can help, please know I am just a call away.

  2. Dear Shawn & Family,
Our hearts are with you now. James was a very kind and gentle soul and we enjoyed his company very much. It has been very special for Kris and I to get to know the Cook family better since Renee and Duane were married. We always enjoyed the conversations with James and yourself, Shawn. James was a wonderful man and the love between the two of you was always so evident. We will miss him and pray that God graces your journey with compassion.

    Love,
    Deanne Newkirk & Kris Holthe

We are so sorry to hear of the loss of James. All that new him in the Comox Valley know that he is now in a better place. It was so nice that he could spend his final days with you at home. No that you are in our prayers and thoughts, hugs Jim & Ada

  4. I was the fortunate woman to be James’s Mom. What an honor and privilege it has been! James was a wonderful Son to raise and later in life a man to be proud of! He was a kind and gentle person who loved to golf, ride his bike and enjoy nature. He loved animals and birds and a rainy night complete with a thunderstorm and lightning. He was a honest person who loved his family and his many friends. His sense of humor was a joy and with his four Brothers, over the years we shared many memorable and fun filled times! He will never be forgotten and he will remain in my heart forever.
Mother & friend, Gloria PS….my deepest condolences to his wonderful wife, Shawn!
