Burns, Helen

September 5, 1930 – June 24, 2018
at the age of 87 years.

Memorial service is to be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness in Salmon Arm, 721 2 Street SE on July 7, 2018 at 2:00 p.m.

Helen Burns (nee Ens) was much loved for her sweet nature and ready smile.  She was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses’ as a teenager and did not stop loving Jehovah until her death on June 24, 2018.  She was predeceased by her husband Jack (John Lloyd Burns).  She is survived by her sister Margaret James, her brother Bernard Ens (wife Chris), her daughters Ginny (Virginia) Laveau (husband Maurice), Lorel Sternig (husband John and wonderful grandsons Jake, Scott and Connor), Rachael Livingstone (nee Shelly Burns and daughter Chloe) and her son Graig Burns.
She will be buried in a private family service.  Her memorial service is to be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness in Salmon Arm. 721 2 Street SE.
Her family is very grateful to the nurses and care staff at Bastion Place, Salmon Arm who compassionately and diligently cared for her needs and helped her rest peacefully as she neared her end.
We eagerly await seeing her fresh and young when God’s Kingdom takes control of this earth and all those sleeping in death will be resurrected.  Act 24:15
