March 3, 1944 – April 28, 2025
at the age of 81 years:

Patricia Jean Campney died peacefully at home on April 28, 2025. She spent her final days surrounded by those she loved with incredible help from health care workers from Interior Health. The family would like to thank everyone for their support.

Pat was born March 3, 1944, in Regina, SK. She put her roots to good use with her partner of nearly 50 years, Steve Langenegger – first on a dairy farm in Saskatchewan and later on a beef ranch outside Salmon Arm, BC. 

Pat loved a party, and a party was always better with Pat hosting.  Whether you were invited for dinner or just dropped by for coffee, Pat made everyone who entered her home feel welcome. You didn’t leave without eating and drinking and laughing too. Wherever Pat was, her laugh wasn’t far behind. Like her father, she was quick with a joke and a funny story and like her mother, if she played you at Scrabble, you would probably lose. 

Pat loved her kids and grandkids fiercely, with a soft spot for dogs and a good bargain. She always had a close-knit circle of friends to walk with, talk with, or have a margarita. Pat liked to say that if you were going to have a drink, you might as well make it a good one.

She will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her.

Pat was predeceased by her parents, Clifford and Jean Dorgan and her brother Danny. 

She is survived by her sister Marietta, her brother Jim (Marlene), her partner Steve, her children Chris (Karen) and Jody, Stefani, Jason (Janelle) and Matt (Tannis), grandchildren Breanna, Connor, Riley, Matthew, Ethan and Carson and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
