I just found out that Jean had passed, and wanted to extend my sympathy to all the family for their loss. She was a very dear friend and a special godmother to our son. She had a special place in my heart and I shall miss her. I’m comforted knowing she’s now reunited with her beloved John. Jackie Pontin

Condolences to the Davies family, I am sorry for your loss. I was unaware that Jean has passed in July, and just discovered this today. Jean was a good friend for many years in Sunnybrae we had many afternoon tea dates and invites to dinner in those early days when we first moved to the area in 1993. Her passion for quilting, sense of humour and heated discussions were well known and loved by all who knew her. May she be at peace. Jan Scott
