Dmuchacz, Stanislaw “Stan”

November 23, 1937 – May 13, 2019
at the age of 81 years

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Stanislaw Dmuchacz on May 13, 2019 at the age of 81 in Salmon Arm, BC. Stan was born in Edmonton, AB but spent his youth in Burns Lake, Terrace and other communities in northern BC. He became an accountant, worked in his own business and in later years for the federal government.  Stan loved spending his time outdoors which included camping, fishing and photography.  In the last several years he spent time painting scenes from his beloved photos of nature of which he was very proud to show his friends and family. He also loved to travel with his wife Verona to the Caribbean, Hawaii, the British Isles and across Canada.  Stan always had a positive outlook on life, loved walking his dog Crystal and lending a helping hand to others.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Verona of 23 years (reunited high school sweethearts), son Phil, daughter Rose McKay (Don), stepdaughters Teresa Kreeft (Joe) and their son Cody, Gena Ginn and her children Spencer and Katrina Giandomenico as well as his sisters Mary Lazar and Irene Dmuchacz along with his nephews and their families.
In lieu of flowers, Stan’s family asks for any donations to be made to the Shuswap SPCA or the Canadian Cancer Society. A service will be announced at a later date.

  1. Hello Verona, Gena, Katrina and others. I was sorry to hear about Mr. Stan who we saw walking Crystal from time to time. What a loving owner to Crystal and I’m sure a wonderful husband, father and grandfather to you all. I will miss seeing our neighbour. Our condolences. (Colin and Marianne #26.)
