Larry Frank passed away quietly in the loving presence of his wife Louise and his sister Donna on July 16, 2012.  Larry was born on July 31, 1946 in Tisdale, Saskatchewan.  Larry worked on the railroad for 35 years with CN Rail.  Larry truly enjoyed spending time with is wife and family boating, camping and many family gatherings at their home.   Larry had a smile that made all who met him feel very welcome and as if they had known him for a lifetime.

Larry was predeceased by his parents Clarence and Clara Frank, stepson Dwayne Lowrie and granddaughter Julie Bowers.  Larry has left a loving family to remember him:  his wife Louise Frank, sisters Connie Samettes and Donna (Jim) Rogel, daughter Lila (Gary) Bremner, son Emil (Robby) Fraser, son Donald Lowrie, granddaughters Sarah (Craig) Scott and Heather Oleson, grandsons James (Aria) Fraser, Robert (Catherine) Fraser, Zachary Fraser, Ben Lovely, great grandchildren Hudson, Meadow and Delaney Scott, Heulwen Fraser, Jenny Fraser and Shae Lovely as well as numerous nephews and nieces.

An open house reception will be held on Saturday, July 28, 2012 at Fischer’s Funeral Services, 1st Avenue @ TCHwy., West Salmon Arm from 2:00 – 4:30 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Larry’s name may be made to the Shuswap Hospital Foundation,Box 265, Salmon Arm, BC, Canada, V1E 4N3.

  1. Louise; I am very sorry to hear of your loss. I am unable to attend the services for Larry.
    You were great neighbours. Larry always had a smile and was a great help to me with my yard. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

    Bunny and I are both saddened to hear of Larry’s passing!
    We are also sad that we will not be able to attend services for Larry But our thoughts will be with you and your family.
