  10. I know Joanne, loved to ride in our 67 Camaro. We would put it in parades and she loved throwing candy to the kjds watching the parade and waving at everyone. Im going to get her name in loving memory inscribed in the back window of this car.

  11. Joanne was my friend since Grade 1 and we had been there for each other through this roller coaster of life. I will always treasure my lifetime of memories and hear her voice everyday. To Jasmine, all her family & Bryan -you are in my thoughts and prayers. It has been a long road for you all and now that angel has a room with an amazing view to watch over you all. I loved her and will celebrate her everyday. ❤️

  12. So very sorry to all the family and friends for your loss of Joanne. We only met her a year ago when she moved here to Salmon Arm, and then found out I knew her daughter Jasmine from Alberta. Such a small world! And such a huge loss. In the short time I knew Joanne, you could see she had a very caring heart. Our condolences to you all. May you find strength from all the good times and memories shared.

  13. As a high school friend, Joanne was always one of my favourite people. We weren’t best friends but I did always consider her a friend! She had an amazing heart and an infectious giggle. She was always “Real.” We didn’t talk often as adults, but when we did it was like no time had past.

My heart aches for your family Joanne. Another beautiful soul gone too soon.

  14. Brother Brian: so sorry for your loss, Jo was taken too young! I promised her we would stick by you as she was so worried! She loved you. My Heart goes out to you and all her family. Hugs to all.

  15. Joanne is my older sister. She has left us with a lifetime of stories that bring a smile to our face. She has touched many lives and left lasting impressions. I am forever grateful she made it to the beautiful Shuswap. We grew up boating, fishing and spending a lot of time camping at the lake in the summer, so it only makes sense Joanne was right at home in one of the most beautiful areas around. Bryan, we absolutely appreciate you sharing your love and affection towards Joanne while we were all there with her in her last few days. It was beautiful to witness her responding to you when she could no longer use her words. Thank you for loving my sister. I will carry Joanne with me and be reminded of her amazing artistic abilities when I decorate my yard with her stones. Her baking was always one of kind and delicious. She was always eager to share her box of homemade cookies. Her cake decorating was a true talent. I hardly know my primary colors 🙂 She was so very proud of her daughter Jasmine. She was proud of Jasmine’s work ethic, ability to connect to people with varying abilities and her desire to advocate for those who can’t advocate for themselves. (We are too!!!) Jasmine, your confidence in taking care of all of your moms needs while she was in the hospital was certainly admirable. You are one amazing kid 🙂 Joanne loved her nieces and nephews and always looking forward to hearing stories about their adventures. She followed them as best she could through Rodeo, family trip to Disney World, taking them Go Carting, Mini Golfing and going for ice cream whether in Alberta or BC. Let’s not forget Earl. Joanne and Bryan’s little dog. Man o man she loved that dog. He was good for her as dogs often are for people. Thank you everyone for leaving your kind regards. It is nice to read through them. Bryan, we are so sorry for your loss. Mom and Dad, Thank you for being so unbelievable strong through your unwavering commitment to be with Joanne through this incredibly difficult time. She loves you both so much and appreciated having you there. I LOVE you Joanne.
