  1. Tom was a hard working, dedicated officer who had a “nose for dope.” If it was there, he’d find it. Always a pleasure to work with him. Rest in peace. Deepest sympathy to the family.

  2. I have many happy memories of working with soft spoken Tom.
I don’t think I ever heard him raise his voice in all the years I worked with him.
One day he saw me and a hearing impaired traveller’s communicating as best we could by passing notes between us. Tom quietly came over and began signing with the gentleman. I was impressed and touched all at once. He was full of hidden surprises like that.
Thank you for the memories, Tom. Rest in peace.

  3. Tom was quite the man. I looked forward to shifts we worked together. Tom, Steve Burnett and I were on the FRT, always a lotta laughs and learning from Tom. RIP Brother

  4. I am deeply saddened by Tom’s passing. Tom was my coworker and mentor at Canada Customs for many years. Tom was a genuine individual. At work we all looked up to Tom and constantly asked for his guidance which he freely gave. My very sincere deepest condolences to his family. Tom, you were love, and will be missed.

  5. My hunting partner and mentor at work. He could spot the bad guy a long way away. Condolences to his family.

  6. Sad to Hear
Condolences to the Family and Friends of Tom.. I always thought of him as a Knowleable Person and Cool person to work with.
A Handsome smooth Dude like Clint Eastwood .
    “Rest in Peace” Tom

  7. So sorry to hear about Tom. He was a true gentleman and will be missed by many!!
I had the pleasure of working with Tom at Huntingdon for many years. Judging from the stories we heard I don’t think there was an engine or anything mechanical that he couldn’t fix!!!
    Badge 44 forever!!

  8. So sad to hear the passing of Tom. Worked with him at the Canada Customs Drug Team in my early years at Customs. He was a wealth of experience and a great person to work with.

    You will be sadly missed.
