October 5, 1946 – January 20, 2017
at the age of 70 years

 It is with great sadness that our family announces the passing of our mother, grandma, sister, aunt, mentor and friend, Donna Lynn Guptell, 70, of Sorrento, British Columbia, formerly of Lamont, Alberta and Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta. Donna passed away peacefully on January 20, 2017, at Kelowna General Hospital surrounded by her family. Born October 5, 1946 in Wetaskiwin, Alberta, she led a full life from coast to coast. She was predeceased by her parents, Roy and Hazel McPherson, as well as her cherished sister, Cheryl Mack (McPherson), and nephew Shane Mack.
She is survived by her husband Graham Beauchamp, of Sorrento, B.C., daughter, Kelli (Dean) Tkachuk and son Chris (Laura) Beauchamp, both of Grande Prairie, Alberta, and grandchildren Gregory, Ryley, Bridget and Delaney, as well as her brothers Dan McPherson, David (Josephine) McPherson and Dale (Betty) McPherson.
Donna loved to cook for others and greatly enjoyed films, reading, and playing cards, dominoes and dice games. She was a gracious and loving person who always had others’ interests at heart. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
