Ingeburg Marie Hellmer passed away peacefully on November 23, 2015. Inge was born in Husum, Germany on March 18, 1936 and moved to Vancouver, BC with her son, Andreas in 1964. Inge enjoyed laughing with her family and friends, working in her garden, listening to music, spending time near the ocean and working as a caregiver for adults with mental disabilities.
Above all, Inge was a loving and devoted mother to her son, Andreas and her daughter, Audrey and she is deeply loved and cherished always by her children.
With Inge’s natural kindness, strength and independence she made a difference in the lives of those who loved her and those who were fortunate to really get to know her.
Inge will be truly missed by her friends and family.
A private celebration of Ingeburg Marie Hellmer’s unique life will take place in the summer of 2016 at White Cliff Park, BC with her children and family. The place where some of our best memories of our beloved Mother were made.
