at the age of 79 years
Deanna passed away with family at her bedside. Predeceased by her eldest son, Phillip in 2001, siblings Jack, Bill, Marion, Brenda and Gary. She is survived by Robin (husband of 58 years), son Mark (Ciel), daughter-in-Law Joanie and grandsons Glen and Derek (Julie).
The family would like to thank Dr. DeWet and Dr. Breugem, the staff at the Emergency Room and Level Two of Shuswap Lake General Hospital and the staff at Ortega at Mt Ida Mews for the dedicated care Deanna received.
No memorial by request. Donations can be made to the Shuswap Lake Hospital Foundation in Deanna’s memory.

Deanna was such a good friend of Mom and Dad, I know I am remiss in not visiting, knowing how much Deanna missed Mom after she passed away in 2010. Robin,you have been such an extraordinary caregiver for so many years, my heart goes out to you and your family. Deanna will be missed so much by all of you. I have personally kept all the wonderful coffee mugs you gave Mom and Dad over the years, all with the humorous pictures of country characters….I cherish them as much as they did.
She is forever in our thoughts and hearts and will be sorely missed.
Will miss you dear cousin so many memories. Phone calls and growing up great memories. and fun times You will now join your family.
