Celebration of Life will be held at the Five Corners Pentecostal Church at 3160 10th Ave SE, Salmon Arm BC on October 18th, 2014 at 2 pm with food and refreshments to follow.
Carol passed away at Bastion Place in Salmon Arm, BC, with her family by her side, after a courageous battle with cancer. She is survived by her daughter Melanie (Kael) Smith and daughter Rheanna Pudsey, grandchildren Caroline Pudsey, Skylar Pudsey, Michael Alexander and Chloe Smith as well as by her Kitty Cat Chloe.
Carol was born in Toronto, ON and after various locales, landed permanently in Salmon Arm 34 years ago. She earned her GED and graduated with a degree in Horticulture in 1989. She enjoyed nothing more than spending time in her garden. Carol also took pride in raising her grandchildren, Caroline and Skylar, being a loving and devoted Mother and caring for others. Those that knew her saw that she gave back at every opportunity.
Donations may be made in lieu of flowers to the Food Bank or Salvation Army.

It’s hard to believe Carol is gone from us.
I don’t know how I would have coped without her help and warm smile through a very difficult time in my life. She asked for nothing and gave so much. In the words of Billy Joel, “Only the good die young.”
If there’s such a thing as a special place in Heaven, surely Carol is there now.
A very remarkable woman who shared her life, love, and laughter with Kindness, compassion and understanding. We share in the loss of a very dear friend, feeling truly grateful and blessed to have known Carol…we loved her…and will always carry her memory in our hearts.
I had just reconnected with Carol after many years. She still had that big wide smile and laugh that I remembered so well. She was a lovely generous woman who will be missed by many and I am truly grateful that we had this opportunity to be together again. My condolences to her family on their loss. I know she loved you all deeply.
A piece of my heart is missing cousin, but you will always be in my memories. I hope the sorrows and heavy burdens on the family, especially on you Melanie will soon melt away. Love to all, John….
I am saddened by the loss of this amazing woman. My sincere condolences to the family. Carol was the epitome of unconditional love – she gave and shared freely. Carol, your light will continue to shine as your spirit was always so bright and pure.
Sending my many hugs..I worked with Mom up at Skimikin a long time ago and since then always ran into her in the Community and she always…had a smile. What a thoughtful respectful lady…she always stopped to chat. Most don’t do that.
