So sad to hear of Trevor’s (Rev Trev ) passing. He married my wife and I 48 years ago in Marysville. His gentle sole, dry witty humor, and surprise visits on his motorcycle will truly be missed.
Until we meet again !!

My wife and I have been long time seasonal attendes of the church in Eagle Bay where Tevor often lead our servises. We only recently heard of his passing. We so appreciated his sharing of his life and his faith. We looked forward to the Sundays he was out here. His kindness and gentle spirit will long be remembered. We thank his wife and family for sharing him on Sunday mornings. We know he is with the One who loved him best and to whom he looked forward to seeing face to face.

Pastor Trevor married my Husband Mike and me 31 years ago we were one of the last couples who he married. We did premarriage counselling with him and learned so much. He was such a wonderful man Our deepest sympathy to his family. He will be missed.
I was saddened to hear of Trevor’s passing. Our condolences to the family. Trevor was a good neighbor and such an honorable and gentle man. His love and care for all he met was an example of a Christ-like character throughout the 40 years we knew him. I have no doubt we will meet again in heaven one day.
My condolences to the whole family. I remember when your family first moved to Grindrod. I have many memories of Mr. Holmes over the years.

Dear Michelle, so sorry for your loss. I know your dad was pretty special to you…and to many. Love you!
So very saddened to hear of his passing. I have always felt like he was another Dad to me. He will be missed dearly. Sending hugs and prayers to the family.
So saddened to hear the news of Trevor’s passing. He was a friend of my older brother, Monty, in Belleville, ON before I came to know him when we attended GRSBM together in the early 60’s. I will never forget Trevor’s quiet and gentle manner and his strength of character.
Michelle, Michael and to your mom, Maureen as well. Brenda and I were so sorry to hear the news of your father’s passing. But as you know, the Apostle Paul taught us that to be absent from our body is to be present with the Lord (2 Corinthians 5:6-8). We continue to pray for you all in the hope that you will know the comfort of the Lord who promised to always be with us (Matthew 28:20). We look forward to the day when we all we be reunited in the presence of the Lord.
Blessings,
Phil & Brenda David
