A celebration of Lisa’s life will be held at the Sylvan Lake Legion, Branch 212, 4916 50 Avenue, Sylvan Lake, AB on Saturday, June 24, 2017 from 1:00 – 5:00 p.m. 

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lisa Maureen Hook at the age of 51 years after a short but courageous battle with cancer on May 8, 2017 at the Red Deer Hospice.  Lisa was born in Preeceville, Saskatchewan on August 6, 1965.  Lisa was raised and educated in Saskatchewan and met her soul mate, Jim in Moosejaw.  Jim and Lisa have lived in Sylvan Lake for 13 years.
She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of almost 28 years, Jim; her two sons, Jesse and Cole both of the Sylvan Lake area; her parents David and Elva Cook of Preeceville, SK; her sister Bev (John) Masko; her two brothers, Trevor and Terry Cook all of Saskatchewan.  She is also survived by Jim’s family; her mother-in-law, Joan Hook; brothers-in-law, Bill and Dave Hook as well as numerous other relatives, many dear friends and co-workers from the Sylvan Lake Lodge, where she was em[;pued fpr the last 9 years.
A celebration of Lisa’s life will be held at the Sylvan Lake Legion, Brand 212, 4916 50 Avenue, Sylvan Lake, AB on Saturday, June 24, 2017 from 1:00 – 5:00 p.m.  Those attending are encouraged to bring a story or memory of Lisa to be shared with the family.
