It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Linda Humphreys on Oct. 26, 2018 due to her valiant battle with cancer.
Linda was born in Mission, BC Dec. 23, 1947 and married Gordon Humphreys on Sept. 30, 1967.
She is survived by her loving husband Gordon Humphreys, Sue Randolph (sister) and children Joanne Held, Karen Humphreys, Adam Humphreys and David Humphreys as well as grandchildren; Alicia Mouland, Laura Lee, Gavin Kinakin, Teara Kinakin, Phoenix Humphreys and Little David Humphreys and great-grandsons Mayson and Aiden Mouland.
The family thanks Mount Ida Medical Centre, Dr. Heunis, Shuswap Lake General Hospital staff and the palliative care nurses Allison and Marla and care aids and especially Suzie from Paramedic Community Care for all the care and compassion for Linda in the last few months. Thank you very much, you did make a difference.
At her request no funeral so in lieu of flowers please consider donating to the Cancer Society.
So sorry to hear about Linda’s passing. Although I had not seen her in some time, she was a wonderful person and friend. I will remember her when I pick the blackberries that have flourished from the plant she gave me.
