On Monday January 22, 2024 Myrna Marie Isackson (Purnell) passed into the loving arms of our Heavenly Father. Myrna was predeceased by her husband Maurice and parents Val & Ethel Purnell. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her. Her strength, faith, and unconditional love shone through in everything she did. We will miss that great smile and the best hugs ever. She is survived by her 4 children Ian (Jennifer) Isackson, Cora Isackson, Lana (Darren) Chesley, Rhonda (Scott) Murray and her six grandchildren: Hailey, Quinn, Benjamin, Chelsea, Sydney and Mylo. A memorial service will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints chapel in Salmon Arm February 17, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. Donations can be made to the Royal Purple Salmon Arm Chapter (Lodge #279), 3690 30 Street NE, Salmon Arm, BC, V1E 3L1 in lieu of flowers.
Dear family of Myna Isackson.
Robert and myself are wishing you God’s strength while you adjust to the loss of mother, sister, grandmother and very good friend. Memories of Myrna came flooding back when this news came yesterday. The welcome that was always at her door. Her excellence as a teacher, community volunteer and homemaker. Her thoroughness and integrity in all of those activities.
It is our hope that her spirit lives on in all of us.
