In Loving Memory of Robert James Klepacz
January 27, 1956 – October 4, 2024
at the age of 68 years:
Robert “Bob” Klepacz, 68, passed away peacefully on October 4, 2024, at Shuswap Lake General Hospital after a brave battle with cancer.
Born on January 27, 1956, to James and Joyce Klepacz in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Bob was raised in Ontario and spent several years in Edmonton, Alberta, before settling in Salmon Arm, B.C. in the mid 1990s. He was known for his free spirit, generosity, magnetic personality, and the many friendships he cherished throughout his life. He was deeply loved by his family and friends.
Bob is survived by his two devoted sisters, Catherine Joyce (Raymond) and Mary Lisa (Patrick), as well as his cherished nephews, Joseph Patrick and Aiden Kelwyn, and his beautiful niece, Ada Anne. He was preceded in death by his parents, several friends and relatives, and many beloved pets.
Bob will be remembered for his kind heart, adventurous spirit, charisma, and propensity for deep conversations. He brought joy to everyone around him and had a positive impact on all who knew him. He will be deeply missed.
Special thanks to his good friends, David and Peter, and to the nurses and doctors who cared for Bob in his final days. We take comfort in knowing that his passing was relatively quick and that he is now free of pain.
“Goin’ up to that spirit in the sky.”
