Kowerchuk, Judy May

KOWERCHUCKApril 16, 1943 – September 12, 2014
at the age of 71 years

Judy was born in Portage La Prairie, Manitoba. She lived throughout Alberta and BC, but eventually called Vernon home, as she loved the warmth and lifestyle!

Judy enjoyed many activities such as darts, golf, crib and especially pool! She had an amazing personality and could make instant friends. She was creative, told funny stories and was everyone’s counsellor and con dant. She was a people person.

Judy was predeceased by her father Lawrence Woodand brother Randy Wood. She is survived by her loving husband Harvey, of 52 years; loyal dog Cheeko; daughters Valerie (Martin) Machula & Rhonda Mayne (Ken Schmidt); grandchildren Sabrina & Steven Machula and Chantel & Breanne Mayne and great grandchildren Aliya & McKinley Mayne (twins). She is also survived by her mother Pearl Wood; brothers and sisters Gary (Edith) Wood, Sharon (George) Carpenter, Linda (Dennis) Carpenter, Rita Montgomery, Debbie Steenkamp (Keith McLachlan) and Rick (Kathy) Wood; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and almost-relatives, all making up a wonderful vegeneration family!

Although we are sad to announce her sudden but peaceful passing, we are honoured to have had this special lady be a part of our lives for as long as we did, passing on her love, laughter and positive in- uence to others.

A Celebration of Life for Judy has been held with family.

In lieu of – owers, we would appreciate your contribution in her memory to either the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Rheumatoid Arthritis Society.

Forever remembered … Forever loved ,
