at the age of 79 years
It is with great sadness we say goodbye Helmut at the age of 79 years.
Loving husband of 51 years to Frieda, father to Connie Hill, Debbie Strand and Cindy Cameron, grandfather to Pam (Russell) Strand-Bohnet, Kyle & Tyler Hill, Edward Strand and Travis & Sean Cameron, great grandfather to Sowyer Bohnet. He also leaves many relatives and friends.
Helmut was predeceased by his youngest daughter Cindy (2016), two brothers and his parents.
As per his wishes, there will be no funeral. His cremated remains will be interred in Calgary in January 2019.

Helmut was my absolutely favorite uncle.He was caring,kind ,funny and one of a kind.It was a privilege to have such a wonderful man in my life.He will be truly missed and have a place in my heart forever. My condolences to his wife Frieda who lost her soulmate and to his girls. He was a wonderful father and I hope they can seek confort in the many memories that he left them with. The world was a better place with him in it .
