  1. Don was our square dance caller for many years and he was also kind enough to act as MC at our 50th anniversary celebration. He had such an outgoing personality and he always made a point of greeting everyone individually and making them feel very welcome. We’ll miss his excellent singing and his patient teaching. Our hearts go out to Marlene and her family.

  2. Such a kind and gentle man with a sense of humour and awesome square dance calling skills will surely be missed by so many

  3. Dear Marlene: Thinking about you, and feeling sad for your loss.

  4. Marlene,
I was so sad to hear of Don‘s passing. in 2007, with our first Square Dance lesson, Don introduced us to an activity that provided us with exercise, fun, laughter and many new friendships. I remember how good he was to Cal when he wasn’t able to dance due to his knee replacements. During our plus lessons in his garage, Cal became “the judge”… which square did it best?
I feel blessed and thankful for the many years we spent with you both.
    Most sincerely,
    Jacquie
