at the age of 95 years:
“Our Mom, Grammie, and Aunty Girly”
October 29 to November 27, 2021
Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sunlight ripened grain,
I am the gentle Autumn’s rain.
When you awaken in the early morning hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush,
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft star that shines at night,
Do not stand at my grave and cry.
I am not there, I did not die.
Condolences from the Fortier family. Helen will be missed by many. Many great memories of her. She had an infectious laugh and beautiful voice when she and Johnny would come to the house and play guitar and sing old time music tunes. Rest in Peace Helen..
