at the age of 83 years:
Funeral services will be held t St. John’s Anglican Church, in Salmon Arm, Nov. 27 at 1:30pm. Chris Lein had an appreciation for bright colours, so dress code is: Festive Attire. The family welcomes donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, as an expression of sympathy, instead of flowers.

Christine Elizabeth Lein RN & Midwife, has done her final rounds and passed peacefully on Nov 9, 2021 at age 83. Thanks to staff at Royal Inland Hospital, Kamloops, and Andover Terrace, Salmon Arm for their kind care. Chris was born in Sileby, England to George and Lily Ball. She had a penchant for travel, and combined with her love of nursing, travelled across Canada in the early 1960’s. Eventually settling in the small town of Salmon Arm, she married, and raised three children. Upon retirement, she continued to explore the world and was especially glad to connect with nephew Jason in Australia. Chris was a strong, independent person who loved her family, and lived her truth. Chris is survived by her sons: David, Richard, and Mark, four grandchildren, and numerous friends.
Mark so sorry to read of your mom’s passing and your Dad’s. Sending a big hug to you.. A sad time for your family.
While visiting my own mother I fondly remember having many quick chats with you lovely mother as she guarded (chuckle chuckle) the front door at Andover while reading her latest romance books. Cheerful with the ready smile. That is how I will remember you mom.

I was very sad to hear about Christine’s passing. I used to work at Andover and we chatted quite a bit. I really enjoyed her. I’m sorry for your loss.
