at the age of 83 years:
It is with great sadness, we announce the passing of our beautiful Mom, Grandma and GG.
Madeline was born to John and Isabel Auger in Wabasca, Alberta and was the youngest of 11 children. Predeceased by her parents, husband Frank in 2010 and all of her siblings.
Madeline is survived by her children, Irene Mahringer (Matt Pennell), Vickie Head (Terrance), Ken Mahringer (Julie Berriau) and Franz Mahringer. Grandchildren; Christopher Mahringer, Jessica Nieminen, Darien Head (Jessi), Dawson Head and her Great-Grandchildren; Caleb, Logan, Oaklee and Leo.
Madeline had been a resident of Sicamous since 1966, until moving to Salmon Arm in November 2020.
She had a green thumb when it came to house plants and she could nurse anything back to life when needed. She also enjoyed watching nature shows and all the animals, especially the Orangutangs.
Her sense of humor and smile will be missed immensely and memories of our Mom will be cherished forever.
A private graveside interment will be held at the Eagle Valley & District Cemetery (Solsqua Cemetery) this Spring.
