at the age of 92 years

A celebration of life will be held at the home of Rae and Phyllis Meyer in Chase, BC on Saturday, June 2, 2018 from 2-4 pm.

Rae was born and raised in Gilbert Plains, Manitoba and worked on the family farm for many years before moving to Langley, BC in 1956. He worked for the Langley peat plant until his retirement and moved to Chase, BC in 1979 with his wife Phyllis. Rae was known for his excellent handyman and mechanic skills, jewelry fixing and everything in between. You could usually find Rae fishing, gardening, or hanging out at the coffee shop with his wife and friends.
Rae is predeceased by his son Patrick and several brothers and sisters (Florence, Bertha, Edith, Sadie, Alex, Cecil and twin brother Roy).  He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Phyllis, and the rest of his family, Alice Meyer (Jim), Joni Nelson, grandchildren, Coral (Simon), Daryl, Selina-Rae, great-grandchildren Logan and Riley, and many nieces and nephews.
