Montgomery, Judith Ann “Judy”

December 12, 1945 – May 31, 2023
at the age of 77 years:

Judy was born in Ceylon, Saskatchewan on Dec. 12th, 1945 and passed away in Salmon Arm on May 31st, 2023, after a brief battle with cancer.

Judy was predeceased by her parents, John and Helen Lambrecht.  Judy is survived by her loving husband Steve, two sons Darren (Tracey) and Randy (Diane) and her grandchildren, Chase and Kai Montgomery.  She is also survived by her brother Larry Lambrecht, sister Valerie (Al) Howlett, and her sister Catherine Lambrecht as well as many relatives in western Canada and Ontario.

She and Steve were married Nov. 28th, 1964 in Richmond, BC and lived in Richmond, Surrey and Vancouver before moving to Blind Bay.  Judy loved entertaining and had many dinner parties especially at Christmas time.  One of her favourite things was travel, in particular cruises and Las Vegas where she enjoyed casinos.  Judy was a strong supporter of the Blue Jays and the Salmon Arm Silverbacks.

Judy’s funeral will be held at a later date at Our Lady of the Lake Parish in Blind Bay.  In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to a charity of your choice.

  1. so very sorry to hear of your loss of Judy. she was my best friend in Ceylon. i remember well when she moved to b.c. i think i was 12 at the time. sad time for me. my family visited her family years ago when our kids were small. condolences to her family. may she rest in peace.

  6. Judy was my best friend and we had many excursions together shopping and having coffees and having dinners which led to plying many games 2nichbwe. It’s enjoyed she will be and is missed condolences to her family love you sweetie.
