at the age of 89 years:
It is with profound sadness that the family of Ray Moore announces his peaceful passing on January 28, 2024, at the age of 89 years.
Ray was born on July 30, 1934, on the family farm near Carlyle, SK. Ray and Marie were married in Arcola, SK. in 1955.
Ray worked on the oil rigs for a few years and then went to trade school to become a heavy-duty mechanic. They moved to Vulcan, AB to work as a mechanic and then moved to Williams Lake, BC as a service manager. Eventually, they settled in Salmon Arm, BC as an owner/operator of his own logging truck.
Ray leaves behind his wife of 67 years, his daughter, his son and a brother. Ray had 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Ray was loved deeply and will be greatly missed.
At Ray Moore’s request, no service will be held.
I send my condolences to Marie and family. I helped both Ray and Marie for many years.
We remember our trip to Edmonton and Washington with you folks.
