Eric passed away on Thursday April 6, 2017 at his home in Scotch Creek at the age of 68 years.
He was predeceased by his wife Mary Ottahal, and is survived by his common law wife Jeanne Talbot;
son, Kevin (Alissa) Ottahal and grandchildren Kiana, Tristan, Talia; son Chad Ottahal and grandchildren Roen, Tate; daughter, Trena (John) Nicholson, brother Joe (Rebecca) Ottahal and children Greg, Bradley, Katie & Maryanne.
A funeral service will be held at Fischer’s Funeral Home, 4060 1st Ave. SW, Salmon Arm on Wednesday April 12 at 1 pm. Please make donations on behalf of the family to the Scotch Creek Volunteer Fire Dept., 3852 Squilax-Anglemont Hwy, Scotch Creek, BC V0E 3L0.
We are thinking about the family to day. Sorry we could not attend the Service.
Eric was a fine and wonderful person. Didn’t know him that long but he left a wonderful
Impression on us.

So sorry for your tragic loss. Lyle and I always enjoyed our visits with Eric. Great backyard BBQs as you and Eric loved to cook together and were exceptionally good at it.
