Anne passed away peacefully in Shuswap Lake General Hospital on Saturday, October 19, 2019 at the age of 95 years.  She was born to Roy and Rose Winslow in Prince Rupert, BC on March 9, 1924.
Anne is survived by her daughters Ginny-Lou (Jack) Alexander and Fran Porteous, sons Russ (Lotty) Paulsen and Mark (Petra) Daniel, grandchildren Heather (David) Robinson, Tricia Davis, Rob Davis, Anita Paulsen, Ben Paulsen and Jennifer Paulsen, as well as two great grandsons Ty and Sean Davis.
Anne was an avid gardener from the time she was very young, and marrying Don, an Alberta farmer, on October 31, 1945 allowed her to realize her desire to grow beautiful flowers and vegetable gardens wherever she lived.  The exception to that was the eleven years she spent as a storekeeper in Lone Butte – the climate there was not hospitable to growing dahlias and gladiolas!
