  1. I was saddened to hear of Irene’s passing. We were Farmers Market friends…I was a recent widow as well ( she had known my husband as he had a sweet tooth and he always stopped to buy her delicious baking) Irene and I shared stories of our lives without our spouses. She was always so nice, soft spoken, caring , pleasant and generous. Once she gave me a cutting of a Bears Paw plant, and now when it blooms every year, I will smile and think nice thoughts of her. I will surely miss her. I was not aware of her celebration of life , would of attended . Please accept my deepest condolences on your loss..

  8. I was sorry to hear of Irene’s passing. I haven’t kept in touch much since I lived in Turner Valley with Florence and I regret that I haven’t. I often wondered what you all were doing.
I hope the memories of your parents will be of comfort to you.
    Sincerely Doris

  9. Our deepest condolences to all of Irene’s family, especially my sister-in-law Susan, brother Ralph and their children Stacey & Rusty & families. Irene was such a kind, soft spoken lady, I always stopped and talked to her at her craft & baking table when at the Piccadilly Mall. Irene welcomed my parents and ourselves, to camp in her yard during the last big Mt. Ida Fire after we had been evacuated twice from 2 different residences….She is in a better place now….at peace and no pain….Hugs.
