Rolf, Enno Ferdinand

December 16, 1940 – July 31, 2021
at the age of 80 years

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Fred Enno Rolf on July 31, 2021 at the age of 80 in Vernon, BC.  Fred was born in Osnabruck, Germany on December 16, 1940.

He is survived by his wife, Win Malner Rolf; his children, Annemarie Dillon (Mike), Bridget Rolf, Christopher Rolf, Denise Dober (Ray), Wesley Rolf (Maeghan), and Stephanie Rolf; his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Fred immigrated to Canada at the young age of 17 and eventually made his way out West to live his dream of being a cowboy.  He raised his families on a large cattle farm outside Prince George, BC while also working at Northwood Pulp Mill.  At his retirement, he made the move to the Okanagan where he lived his remaining years enjoying some light gardening and playing crib.

Fred will be remembered for his hardworking nature, his love of reading, and dry humour.

There will be no funeral service as per Fred’s request.  His cremated remains will be spread in a river by his family as per his final wish.
