Rolin, Dariel Kenneth “Ken”

August 15, 1937 – December 27, 2019
at the age of 82 years

It is with heavy hearts we say goodbye to a good and loving husband, father, grandfather and friend.
Ken moved to Salmon Arm from Maidstone Sask. with his two older brothers and parents, Louie and Margaret Rolin, in 1943. Predeceased by his parents and brothers Lefty and Garry Rolin, he is survived by his loving wife Dorothy of 42 years, son Darrell (Heather) daughter Brenda (Claude) stepsons Rob and Christopher Holm. Brother Urb (Enid), sister-in-law Jan (Gord), 5 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Ken contributed to his town of Salmon Arm; he was a volunteer fireman for 15 years, maintained local highways with the Dept. of Highways for 38 years and was a driver trainer, coached minor league baseball, and was awarded a life membership with the Royal Canadian Legion Br. #62.
Ken was known for his sense of humour, helping those less fortunate and his finesse on the dance floor. He will be sorely missed by his family and friends.
There will be no funeral as requested by Ken.  Donations in memory of Ken can be sent to the Shuswap Hospital Foundation.
