Peacefully in the early hours of November 17, at the Salmon Arm General Hospital, Mom passed away a few short weeks after her 88^th birthday. 

Mom was born November 8, 1928. She is predeceased by her mother and father, Joseph and Bertha Gaynor, her first husband Norman Jackson and her second husband Frank Smythson.  She is survived by her daughters Cynthia and Pamela, and her son Greg and his wife Janice, her brother Bob and partner Mark, her sister Beverly and husband Mickey, 5 grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.  Mom recently moved to Salmon Arm from Seattle Washington, where she lived for over 20 years. She will be missed. 

Cremation has taken place. A private gathering will be held this summer. In lieu of flowers please donate to the charity of your choice.
