The family would like to express their gratitude for Millie’s care at Arbor House and Hillside
Village and for the kindnesse shown by her Salmon Arm friends and especially for the extraordinary kindness and care given by Carrie and Iain Sutherland.
Millie was a long time friend. She and I had tea and visits many times and I drove her to many of her appointments. I was so surprised to see her eat Wasabi when we went out for sushi. Lol! My kids loved going to Millie’s for tea and a biscuit. Millie was always eager to lend an ear and tell me stories of her life. She was a very interesting woman. I even drove Millie and her son to her sister’s in Vernon for a turkey dinner. Millie and my visits stopped when Covid happened as I wasn’t vaxxed. I would see her sometimes on her balcony. My adult children also have fond memories of Millie as I do. Our heartfelt condolences to her son and grandson she leaves behind. Love Pat, Joshua and Keara Contant ❤
A dear lady has left us. Gone on to her reward. Thinking of the family. Familiar with Brudenell.
Dear Millie! We’ve enjoyed getting to know her since coming to Salmon Arm both in visiting together and having fellowship together. She was a great example of standing true to her convictions.
