Tosczak, Douglas Stuard

September 30, 1932 – November 12, 2012
at the age of 80 years

Douglas Stuard Tosczak aged 80, passed peacefully on November 12th, 2012 in Salmon Arm with his loving wife Betty by his side. Born in Goodfare Alberta, he spent his early years there before moving to Grande Prairie in 1941 where he married and raised a family of three. Doug was a veteran of Korea, and later a salesman and entrepreneur.
Doug and Betty retired to Sicamous, BC in 1993 and thoroughly enjoyed fishing the many area lakes, camping and travelling south for winters, boondocking in the deserts of Arizona and the Baja. Doug volunteered with the Shuswap Lake Marine Patrol and loved spending many hours on the Lake with his grandchildren.
A celebration of Doug’s life will be held at a later date where family and friends will be welcome. In lieu of flowers, donations in Doug’s memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
