Trimble, Kendall “Kenny” Reid

February 6, 1964 – April 16, 2025
at the age of 61 years:

Kendall (“Kenny”) Reid Trimble, passed away at the age of 61 years, on April 16, 2025, in the loving arms of his family, with his mother singing beside him. He came into the world on February 6, 1964, in Vegreville, AB, and left his footprint in St. Paul, AB, Kelowna, BC, and most recently, Sicamous, BC.

Kendall was predeceased by his dad, Orvil Trimble (1990), his nephew, Bradley Prysunka (2015), and his grandparents.

He is forever cherished by his son, Connor and step-son, Mikey; his mom, Annette Trimble-Michaud (Herve); sister, Leanne Prysunka; brother, Brian Trimble (Sharon); brother, Lloyd Trimble (Michelle); and his loving nieces and nephews. He is sadly missed but never forgotten by many friends and coworkers who he considered family.

Now reunited with his beloved family members who passed before him, Kenny is also joined by his dogs Skipper, Boochie, and most recently, Otis, who took extraordinary measures to stay by his side when he passed away suddenly on the very same day.

Kenny loved all things that went FAST. Whether it was for work or for fun, he was known for his skill and passion when it came to cars, trucks, motorcycles, and boats. He always loved music and extreme sports. Most of all, he loved the people in his life. He respected and held relationships with the highest regard, going to extreme lengths to welcome, accommodate and entertain you in the best way- Better than anyone.

He gave everything he had wholeheartedly to his family, friends, coworkers, and pets. Nothing Kenny ever did was average; he always went above and beyond and inspired all of us to do the same. He spoke from his big heart and called it like he saw it. If Kenny respected you, he called you a “ROCKSTAR” – and he meant it.

Kenny touched the lives and hearts of many. Our family would like to thank and recognize the special people and loved ones who stood by him. Your presence, support, and stories are forever part of his legacy. We are forever grateful to the staff on the 4th floor at Sicamous General Hospital, who not only cared for Kendall, but also cared for our family while we stayed beside him.

Until we meet again Kendall, Kenny, Ken on a beautiful lake…In the coolest of boats…Shine on, you crazy diamond. You are a rockstar! Wish you were here.

Celebration of life to follow this summer first in Lake Country, BC, then in St. Paul, AB, where Kendall’s ashes will be laid to rest beside his dad. Dates to be announced.

  1. Forever grateful for visits at Turtle Bay pub and uncle Kenny’s encouragement in “cheering me” on to move to BC. Uncle Kenny was always excited that another Trimble would be living out this way…

I will miss your happy energy and out visits.

Your kindness and adventurous spirit will never be forgotten and is something we will keep talking about forever… ☀️

    Rest easy.

  2. Kenny had a great car in high school. ‘73 Mercury Montcalm the worst colour outside but the best stereo in St. Paul hands down. Pulled a few Cheech & Chong cruises and we became good buddies, and not because he had the most beautiful sister in town 😉

Kenny was generous in many ways and if you were visiting him in Kelowna he went out of his way to organize fun machines to enjoy from snowmobiles to watercraft and motorcycles. He truly wanted you to experience what he loved about Kelowna and meet the friends he loved in his Kelowna.

It was my good fortune to be his brother in law for 30 years and share his family. I still feel lucky to have lived those years. “Uncle Kenny” loved his nephew Brad Prysunka and Brad was cut from the same cloth when it came to going fast on everything! On land or water it didn’t matter. Uncle Kenny and Uncle Brian bought Brad a 2 piece wet suit for his 2nd birthday. Took some growing into it but those Uncles had that boy in the boat and tubing before Brad hit 3 years old in what Brad called his “big pool” back then.

Kendall you’ll be missed by many. You’re a hard act to follow and I’m sure those friends you loved in your life feel a big hole in their circle.

May the paved roads be curvy, the powder deep on the mountains and the lakes be glass. You deserve it.

  3. Deeply saddened to hear the passing of Ken. He will be missed and remembered.

  4. To the guy that introduced me to barefoot waterskiing and we moved to Kelowna together in 1987 from Calgary, I will always remember the great camping trip we took
